Northern Milfoil (Myriophyllum)
Leaves whorled in groups of 4 to 6. Each leaf is divided into 5 to 12 leaflets extending from a stout green central rib. Form tangled mats on the water surface. Late summer, some varieties will produce serrated leaves and small flowers clustered on a spike that grows above the water surface. Treat anytime weeds are actively growing.
